This chapter provides instructions for downloading, installing, and evaluating Intellicus.

Downloading Intellicus

You can obtain the Intellicus setup in one of the following ways:

Contact Support: Email the support team at support@intellicus.com.
Request an Evaluation: Visit www.intellicus.com and click Try Free to request an evaluation version.

Before You Begin

Review the following prerequisites and configuration details before starting the installation.

Operating System

You can install the Intellicus server and portal on the following supported operating systems:

Windows
Linux
macOS

Note
Verify OS compatibility based on your Intellicus edition and deployment environment.

Report Server Port

By default, the Intellicus Report Server runs on port 45450.
If this port is already in use, you can specify an alternate port during installation.

Portal Server Port

By default, the Intellicus Portal runs on Jakarta Tomcat at port 8080.
If port 8080 is in use by another application, choose a different port during installation.

Important
If the specified portal port is already in use, Intellicus may fail to start. In such cases, you may receive the following error in your browser:

HTTP 404 – Page Not Found

This typically indicates that the portal did not launch successfully because the web server port was unavailable.
