Configuration File Handling in Intellicus 25.x
Intellicus 25.x introduces a new configuration handling approach:
Default values are now stored in two read-only files:
ReportEngine_Default.propertiesReportClient_Default.properties
Custom environment-specific values stored in:
ReportEngine.propertiesReportClient.properties
Intellicus now gives runtime preference to user-defined values. This eliminates the need to manually merge changes post-upgrade, as long as your property files are preserved.
Best Practice
Maintain version-controlled backups of all custom files and configurations before performing an upgrade.
