Configuring Notification Channels

Intellicus allows you to configure notification channels so that users can receive alerts through their preferred mode of communication. Notifications can be triggered for events such as:

  • A key metric crossing a defined threshold

  • Completion of the background report execution

  • System-level updates requiring immediate attention

The Notification Channel Configuration screen enables administrators to set up supported channels—Email and Push Notifications. Once configured, users can specify their notification preferences (channel and event type) on the Preferences page.

For example, users may choose to receive:

  • Business Alerts via Push Notifications

  • Scheduled Report Notifications via Email

  • Background Report Completion Alerts on both channels

Note
Ensure the respective channel configurations are complete before users set preferences.

Adding a Notification Channel

To add and configure a notification channel.

  1. Go to Navigate > Administration > Configure > Notification Channels.

  1. Click the Add button to add a notification channel.
