Intellicus offers flexible deployment options to meet your organization’s specific reporting needs. You can install and configure Intellicus based on your performance requirements, available resources, and IT architecture preferences.
Deployment Models
You can deploy Intellicus in the following ways:
Single-machine or distributed environment
Standalone or integrated with other applications
All components on one machine or distributed across multiple machines
Single-Machine Deployment
Install all Intellicus components on a single machine for simplified setup and maintenance. This approach is suitable for small-scale deployments or evaluation environments.
Distributed Deployment
For improved scalability and performance, you can install Intellicus components on separate machines:
Intellicus Report Server
Intellicus Web Client (Portal)
Database Server
This setup helps distribute the processing load and supports high availability.
Standalone Deployment
Install Intellicus as a standalone web-based reporting solution. All reporting, dashboarding, and analysis features are available through the Intellicus Portal.
Integrated Deployment
You can integrate Intellicus into your existing application ecosystem. Intellicus supports seamless integration, either through its portal or by embedding its reporting features directly into your application's native UI.
Use the Intellicus Portal hosted on your application’s web server or on a separate server.
Use Intellicus’s default web server or configure it to work with your existing web infrastructure.
Intellicus integration is designed to be transparent to end users, allowing them to access powerful reporting features within familiar interfaces.
Recommended Configuration
For distributed deployments:
Install the Intellicus Report Server on a dedicated machine for report processing.
Install the Intellicus Web Client on the machine where your web application is hosted.
This setup supports better performance, especially in high-load environments.
