Social Media Campaign Analytics
Intellicus enables users to design and perform analytics on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter). This feature supports sentiment analysis on fetched X feeds and provides campaign-based insights.
Note
Social Media Analytics is a license-controlled feature. It requires deployment of a .cab file that includes pre-designed connections, report objects, reports, and user roles.
Prerequisites
To use Social Media Campaign Analytics, ensure the following:
A valid social media connection to X for access token and key generation via a third-party application.
A configured PyServer connection to run sentiment analysis scripts.
Appropriate user role permissions for creating and managing campaigns.
Creating a Social Media Campaign
To create a campaign:
Go to Navigate > Design > Social Media Campaign.
Click Add to create a new campaign.
Provide the following campaign details:

Tweet Date Range | Select a start and end date to filter tweets by publication date. |

Languages | Choose specific languages to fetch tweets in. |
Tweet Volume | Specify the number of recent or popular tweets to collect (e.g., 100K popular tweets). |
Tweet Order | Set the order in which tweets should be retrieved. |
Accounts to Include | Optionally, specify particular accounts from which to fetch tweets. |
Each change to the campaign configuration creates a new campaign version.
Campaign Actions
Under the Actions menu, you can:
View Edit History: View all versions of the campaign.
Pause Campaign: Temporarily disable the campaign and stop further data collection.
Remove Campaign: Permanently delete the campaign and its historical data.
Scheduling Campaign Data Pull
To schedule data fetches from X:
Go to the campaign’s Settings section.
Choose a schedule type:
One-Time
Recurring Frequency (e.g., hourly, daily)
Save the schedule to automate data pulls based on your selection.
You can also view the number of results collected for each campaign.
Creating Analytics on Campaign Data
Designers and end users can build reports on campaign data:
Open the cube object associated with one or more campaigns.
Design a report using standard report design tools.
Click View Analytics to generate and view the report directly.
You can also access campaign-based analytics via:
Navigate > Analytics > SM Analytics
Reports can be designed using data from a single campaign or multiple campaigns combined.
