HTML Viewer
When you run an ad hoc or Smart report, it opens in the HTML Viewer. For standard reports, select View > HTML on the Report Delivery Options page to view the report in HTML format.
HTML Viewer Overview
The HTML Viewer provides a clean interface with the following three main areas:
Toolbar (top): Includes buttons for navigation, refresh, email, collaboration, print, export, publish, and alerts.
Explore pane (left): Displays Table of Contents (TOC) and alerts (collapsed by default).
Page area (right): Displays report content.
Tip
The first page loads immediately. For long reports, subsequent pages load in the background. The text box on the toolbar shows the current page followed by a + sign while pages are loading. Once the report fully loads, the + disappears.
